Standing 6’2" and weighing 185 pounds, Mike Estes is a versatile producer, action actor, stuntman, and creature performer whose career spans music, film, television, and video games. He emerged in the early 2000s as the lead singer of the fierce punk rock band Virus Nine. That same raw energy and DIY spirit now power the intensity and grit he brings to every role.
Guided by cult icon Bruce Campbell, Mike has crafted a remarkable career portraying monsters, villains, law enforcement, and military operatives in some of entertainment’s most iconic franchises. He also co-produced and stunt coordinated Campbell’s 2025 film Ernie and Emma, which Campbell wrote and directed.
His screen appearances include Fear the Walking Dead, Ash vs. Evil Dead, Star Wars: The Mandalorian, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, Shameless, and Star Trek: Picard, alongside video game credits such as Call of Duty and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Mike’s stunt work and physical performances are featured in Jackass Forever, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, Westworld, American Horror Stories, and Dahmer. He is highly trained in creature movement, motion capture, firearms, stunt driving, hand-to-hand combat, and close-quarters battle, delivering precision and authenticity in every scene.
He’s battled alongside Bruce Campbell, exchanged gunfire with the late Bill Paxton, roamed the galaxy with Jude Law, and stunt-doubled for stars including Sacha Baron Cohen, Johnny Knoxville, Arnold Vosloo, Mitch Pileggi, Steven Ogg, and Campbell himself.
