Biographie
Eddie Flake was born on October 29, 1981, in Santa Clara, California. His career in entertainment began with music. While studying at the University of Hawaii, Eddie's musical abilities caught the attention of Tiki Entertainment, one of Hawaii's leading recording companies. He also hosted his own show on Honolulu’s top urban radio station, 102.3 Da Bomb. His achievements in Hawaii paved the way for him to build his career as an artist and music producer across Florida, Texas, and California. Eddie earned a degree in Recording Arts and Music Engineering from Full Sail Real World Education in Orlando, Florida. In 2007, he relocated to Los Angeles to broaden his entertainment career, transitioning into television production. He worked as a production assistant on numerous popular reality shows, including I Love New York, A Shot At Love, I Want To Work For Diddy, Miss Rap Supreme, Top Design, Beauty and The Geek, Click, College Hill, and Gold Diggers.
Eddie also served as an audience coordinator on shows like Hole In The Wall, Byron Allen's Comics Unleashed, and Bingo America. After gaining experience behind the scenes, he moved in front of the camera, appearing in films such as Along Came Polly (2003), Blue (2007), Who Shot Mamba (2007), Gods of Circumstances (2007), and Friday Night at the DeWayne's (2007). Balancing his talents, Eddie continued working in music alongside his film career. He was an assistant music engineer at renowned studios like Hollywood Sounds and Purple Rain Studio and produced music for international and local artists, including Japan's hip hop artist Luna, Dallas-based hip hop group The Hitman, Veronica V (Cash Money artist), Black Dada (SBR/Universal artist), Redd Eyezz (SBR/Warner Bros artist), Get Fresh (IMG/Def Jam artist), and Velvet Angels (Def Jam artist). Eddie furthered his education in Los Angeles by attending classes at The Groundlings and Margie Haber Studios, training under acting coaches Killian McHugh, Jill Alexander, and Mike Pointer.
In 2013 and 2014, Eddie produced and starred in the lead role of the TV pilot "Kode Orange: Los Angeles." He also took on supporting roles in the independent film "Under A Red Blood Sky" and the feature film "Where Children Play," which featured Brian White, Macy Gray, and Teyonah Parris.
