Biographie
Ruslan Balutsky, also credited as Ruslan Balutskyi, is a Ukrainian actor known for his work in film, television, theatre and short-form drama. He gained wider international attention for his role as James Taylor in the 2025 romantic drama series No, Your Majesty, opposite Yevhenii Lisnychyi. His performance introduced him to audiences beyond Ukraine through the growing vertical drama and web-series format.
Balutsky is based in Kyiv, Ukraine, and has trained across several performance disciplines. He studied Acting at the Ukrainian Film School and also studied Television Journalism at KNUKiM, the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. His professional background combines screen acting with theatre work, on-camera performance, voice and presentation skills. He has also developed experience in dance, movement, improvisation, stage combat, vocal work, and expressive physical performance.
His screen résumé includes work in Ukrainian television and short film.
