Biographie
Joram Willink is an award-winning producer who, through his company BIND, focuses on socially engaged films. As a creative producer, he collaborates closely with writers and directors to develop stories that inspire social change. His productions have received numerous accolades, including the International Emmy Award, two Golden Calf Best Film awards (Dutch Academy Award), Berlinale Special Mention, Grand Award at New York ICFF, Berlinale Silver Bear for short film, Prix Europa, De Tegel (the Dutch 'Pulitzer Prize'), TIFF Kids awards, Cinekid Award, Prix Jeunesse, and many others.
He is recognized for feature films such as The Judgement (2021), My Extraordinary Summer with Tess (world premiere at Berlinale Generation 2019), Son of Mine (Gluckauf, world premiere at IFFR Tiger Competition 2015), and Shouf Shouf Habibi (world premiere at Berlinale Panorama 2004).
His work in short films includes Anything Goes (Emmy Award), Great! (Silver Bear Berlinale 2004), Mimoun (Prix Jeunesse, Emmy nominee 2014), Gamechanger (competition SXSW 2016), Kings Day (TIFF award, Chicago ICFF 2016), as well as mid-length Golden Calf-winning films Jungle and A Good Life. Additionally, he is known for documentaries like the four-episode series The Butlers, winner of Prix Europa, and the international co-production A Thousand Fires (Locarno, Marco Zucchi Award / IDFA / CPHdox).
