Biographie
Bryan Schlam is a Clio Award-winning and Grammy-nominated director known for bold, cinematic storytelling across music videos, branded content, and original series. His 2025 video for Billy Strings' Seven Weeks in County won a Clio Bronze for Music Video, Gold and Silver Telly Awards, and was an official SXSW selection. In 2023, Bryan directed In Your Love for Tyler Childers, which earned a Grammy nomination and nods from the VMAs, CMT Awards, ACMs, and People's Choice Awards. Variety's Chris Willman described In Your Love as "A modern classic of a music video." His work for The Black Keys has been nominated for a Webby Award, UKMVA and has screened at Tribeca.
Over the past 15 years, Bryan has directed projects with a wide range of top talent including David Cross, Elijah Wood, Colton Haynes, James Scully, Steve Aoki, NBA All-Star Trae Young, and broadcaster Kirk Herbstreit. He has also collaborated with major artists like Tyler Childers, The Black Keys, and Billy Strings and led commercial campaigns for Google, Amazon, Call of Duty, Grammarly, Lincoln, and Discover. His work has been featured in Variety, Rolling Stone, CBS, NPR, People Magazine, Funny or Die, and NOWNESS, and screened at SXSW, Tribeca, Raindance and the Cleveland International Film Festival.
