Biographie
Carole Wood, born in Florida, began her artistic journey on stage through dance and musical theater before moving into film and television. Hailing from Fort Lauderdale, she developed a strong stage presence early on, which later shaped her natural, grounded screen acting. After earning a B.S. in Communications from Kennesaw State University, Carole pursued her creative goals while balancing family life. Following the birth of her two children, she rekindled her passion for acting, securing award-winning lead roles in community theater, student films, and independent projects. To enhance her skills behind the camera, she attended Miami Film School in 2010. Prior to her full transition into film, Carole spent over ten years in the NFL, starting as a Pro Bowl cheerleader for the Atlanta Falcons. Her leadership and choreography skills earned her the position of Cheerleading Coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where she helped the squad earn Pro Football Weekly’s "Best NFL Cheer Squad" title in 1998. During her NFL career, Carole worked with major artists like Shania Twain, MC Hammer, Toby Keith, Travis Tritt, Santana, and Shaggy, gaining valuable experience performing on large stages and within high-profile entertainment settings. Expanding into storytelling, she wrote, produced, and starred in Krissy Belle, a sitcom-style comedy edited as a feature film, which premiered at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival in 2013 and was praised for its lightheartedness and bilingual English-Spanish appeal.
Currently, Carole continues to create projects that integrate her experience in performance, production, and storytelling. She lives with her husband and two children and remains dedicated to lifelong learning, creative collaboration, and portraying roles that emphasize humor, heart, and relatable female perspectives.
