Biographie
La Tisha "L.T" Clayton was born in Hollywood, CA, and currently resides in Sacramento, CA. L.T is an award winning Multi-media Journalist, Video Producer, Director and Camera person. She manages corporate video projects for clients world wide. Since 6th grade, L.T has participated in film production both as cast and crew. L.T. explored media production (journalism, creative writing, photography, video, computer graphics, music/song/dance) through coursework and extracurricular activities which further expanded her creativity, knowledge, and interest. While studying at Sacramento State (2005), she was inspired by Michael Apted's "7 Up" series. L.T. began developing the idea for an independent documentary film series titled, "7 Years to the Future", a social and cultural documentary chronicling the lives of diverse, 7-year-old youth from Sacramento, California (America's Most Diverse City- TIME, 2002) while taking a compelling look at culture, socioeconomic status, agents of socialization and a child's life chances at reaching their potential in America. L.T. consulted with Mr. Apted and the late Paul Almond for project insight and advice. Documentary Academy Award winner Kieth Merrill is Consulting Producer for the project.
Currently, L.T is Operations Manager at Agreement Pictures. L.T. contributes her detailed organizing talents towards project management, as well as client & investor relations. L.T. is involved with various production roles including Directing, Producing and Writing. She enjoys working on TV and film projects in a diverse range of genres but has an affinity towards socially conscious media production. That is what fuels her passion to create documentaries that entertain, educate, provoke thought, enrich, inspire, motivate and benefit audiences; taking a natural look at our world through content that connects viewers to the subjects and themes explored in a manner that has a beneficial impact.
