Biographie
Angel Gracia is a Spanish-American director and producer with extensive experience in television and online commercials. He is the president of Creative Tank, a production company focused on film, television, and content creation.
In 2023, Angel produced and directed the George Lopez film "How The Gringo Stole Xmas," co-starring Jack Kilmer and Emily Tosta, and began pre-production on the reality series "American Honey," both in partnership with Lionsgate. He is also producing "Grayer," a film starring Alex Pettyfer and Don Johnson, directed by Jesse V. Johnson. In 2022, Angel produced the Lionsgate film "King Of Killers," featuring Frank Grillo and Stephen Dorf.
For more than ten years, Angel was a partner, executive producer, and director at Ridley Scott and Associates (RSA). His worldwide advertising work has earned him numerous national and international awards, including multiple honors at the Cannes Festival.
Angel's first feature film, "From Prada To Nada," a Lionsgate release, won two Alma Awards and two Imagen Awards, including categories such as Favorite Movie, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actress.
He began his career with a Student Academy Award for his experimental short film "The Three Cornered Hat," followed by winning MTV's first music video contest for Madonna's "True Blue" single. This success earned him an Emmy and made the video one of the most requested on the network.
Angel has worked with Fortune 500 companies like Google, AT&T, Coca-Cola, Mercedes, Honda, Toyota, Ford, VW, Dodge, MasterCard, Coors, ING, Schweppes, and Snickers. Many of these campaigns featured celebrities including Julianne Moore, Penelope Cruz, Val Kilmer, Terry Crews, Sofia Vergara, Hugh Laurie, Shaquille O'Neal, Eugenio Derbez, and Monica Barbaro.
