Drew Callner is a filmmaker, producer, and the founder of West Block Studios, a production company based in Birmingham, Alabama. With over 15 years of experience in television, film, and video production, Drew has worked across multiple departments on major film and television productions, developing a comprehensive understanding of the filmmaking process from development through final delivery. A United States Marine Corps veteran, Drew brings a solutions-driven approach, leadership experience, and the ability to navigate complex creative challenges throughout production.
His experience spans producing, directing, cinematography, editing, location scouting, and production design. Since 2016, Drew has written and produced short films, music videos, documentaries, broadcast commercials, branded content, and corporate productions. Known for his ability to lead crews, solve problems on set, and execute productions efficiently, Drew has become a trusted filmmaker throughout the Southeast. His work blends technical expertise with a passion for authentic storytelling, bringing a unique perspective to every project.
