Biographie
Sean Michael Afable hails from Southern California and was raised in a European-American and Filipino family. Growing up with one brother, eighteen first cousins, and his cat Winston, he enjoyed the dynamics of a large family. Sean graduated from Parkridge Private High School on November 20, 2005.
At just six years old, Sean's parents, Robert and Gigi, recognized his outgoing nature and enrolled him in acting classes. Soon after, he secured his first roles in commercials for Burger King and Chuck E. Cheese. He has since appeared in numerous Disney and Nickelodeon television shows, with a notable list of feature film roles as well. Sean has trained with some of Hollywood's top acting coaches and has been studying with Steven G. Lowe at The Actors Room for several years. His talents span film, television, voice-over, theater, singing, and dance.
When not advancing his acting career, Sean leads a typical young adult life—spending time with family, hanging out with friends, going on road trips, social networking, enjoying fast food, watching movies, reading adventure novels, and continuing his education. He loves the outdoors and participates in activities such as bodyboarding, bodysurfing, surfing, snowboarding, driving, paintball, camping, mountain biking, playing guitar, drawing, singing (as an alumnus of the All American Boys Chorus), and hip hop dancing.
A devout Christian, Sean actively participates in his church community. He also dedicates significant time to local charities that support causes close to his heart, including aiding abused, neglected, and at-risk youth, combating hunger, and fighting global disease.
