Biographie
Zele Avradopoulos is an Atlanta-based actress with a diverse career encompassing acting, coaching, marketing, and professional organizing. Born in Columbus, Ohio, she discovered her love for the stage at age five, performing at the Ohio Theatre. Her childhood was rich with ballet, music, and acting, setting the stage for a lifelong dedication to the arts. Although she spent a year in Greece as a child and later lived in Athens for 13 years after college, her artistic roots remain grounded in Columbus.
Zele earned a BFA in Theatre and a BA in English from Otterbein College, balancing creativity and practicality as encouraged by her family. She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the University of Durham in the UK, where she trained as an English and Drama teacher. Her education includes a summer program at the Moscow Art Theatre through the American Repertory Theatre and Harvard Extension School.
Her acting journey has included diverse roles such as ESL teacher in Athens, English and Drama teacher at international schools, and professional organizer in Boston, yet her passion for the arts has never wavered. A highlight of her early career was her portrayal of Sarah in Children of a Lesser God during college. She made her feature film debut in Paul Blart: Mall Cop, acting alongside Kevin James. Her credits demonstrate her range with roles in HBO's The Great Lillian Hall, Netflix series like Stranger Things, Cobra Kai, and A Family Affair, and work with renowned directors including Ron Howard in Hillbilly Elegy and Clint Eastwood in Juror #2.
Recently, Zele launched her own business that merges her acting experience with coaching and marketing. She helps actors create effective marketing materials, including branding, bios, and tailored pitches for agents and casting directors. Leveraging her industry insight and entrepreneurial drive, Zele supports actors in confidently navigating the competitive entertainment landscape.
Looking back on her unique path, Zele acknowledges the challenges and detours she has faced. Nonetheless, she remains motivated by the creative energy of the industry and the chance to mentor others.
