Biographie
Josh Cruze has spent over four decades in the entertainment industry as an American actor, singer, musician, songwriter, and music producer. He has performed across Theatre, Film, Television, Radio, Concert Halls, and Nightclubs. A decorated combat-wounded former Marine, Josh credits the performing arts with helping him rebuild his life after the traumas of war. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with notable figures such as Salma Hayek, Jimmy Smits, Cheech Marin, Benicio Del Toro, Tony Plana, Miguel Ferrer, Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Tom Cruise, Robert De Niro, Wesley Snipes, Jamie Foxx, Jada Pinkett Smith, David Hasselhoff, and Matt Dillon, among others.
Josh has appeared in numerous award-winning plays, films, and television shows. He had a recurring role on Fox’s acclaimed drama series 24 and guest-starred and co-starred on CBS’s The Unit and TNT’s Monk. He was a series regular for two seasons as Taina’s father on Nickelodeon’s popular comedy Taina, which won the 2002 ALMA Award for Best Children’s Show.
As a writer, artist, and executive producer, Josh has produced five CDs. He is a member of the Grammy organization. His fourth album, "Tengo Que Vivir," was selected by the Grammy Nominating Committee for the first round consideration in nine categories within the Latin and American Grammy Awards. His music has been featured in both independent and major studio films, including two songs in the movie Collateral, starring Tom Cruise, Jamie Foxx, and Jada Pinkett Smith. Additionally, he has been involved in theatrical programs aimed at delivering positive messages to inner-city children.
Josh’s band, Bandidos de Amor, has performed at concerts, clubs, and movie premieres across major cities in the United States and Mexico.
