Michael P. Nash, also known as Mike Nash, is an American filmmaker, television producer, and founder of Beverly Hills Productions. Recognized by MovieMaker Magazine as one of the "Top 10 MovieMakers for the Planet," Nash is a Sundance alumnus whose acclaimed work has been showcased globally. He recently collaborated with Leonardo DiCaprio on Raise, a six-part documentary series about artificial intelligence, which Nash wrote, produced, and directed, scheduled for release in 2026.
Nash’s notable films include Climate Refugees, Saving the Roar, Nebraska, Fuel, and Captain Counter Culture. In 2024, he became the first and only filmmaker to have a film placed on the lunar surface when Climate Refugees was featured in an arts and humanity time capsule designed to preserve humanity’s story off-Earth. This historic time capsule, carried aboard a SpaceX rocket, contained works from 222 artists spanning the last 2,000 years, such as Beethoven, Elvis Presley, Picasso, and Nash’s Climate Refugees.
Many of Nash’s projects have served as global catalysts for change, leveraging impactful art to educate audiences, leaders, and policymakers. His films have been screened at venues including the United Nations, Davos, the Pentagon, the U.S. House and Senate, as well as before governments and universities worldwide.
