Biographie
Gabriele Falsetta was born in Genoa. He left school at 15 to work in a factory. At 23, he enrolled in the Piccolo Teatro Acting School in Milan, graduating in 2008. Throughout his theatre career, he worked with renowned actors such as Luca Ronconi, Fadhel Jaiibi, and Declan Donnellan, participating in over thirty plays. In 2017, he performed at the Roma Europa Festival in the show "SS/Santo Subito," part of the Werner Schwab Trilogy directed by Dante Antonelli. In 2013, together with his brother Jacopo, he founded the independent production company Frömell Films and produced his first documentary, "Dust, the Wanted Life," which was screened at the 33rd Torino Film Festival. He made his feature film acting debut in "Sicilian Ghost Story," the second film by A. Piazza and F. Grassadonia, which opened the Semaine de la Critique at Cannes in 2017. He also appeared in "The Nest" by Roberto De Feo, "Moglie e marito" by Simone Godano, and "Il mio nome è vendetta," directed by Cosimo Gomez. In television, he starred in "L'ispettore Coliandro - Il ritorno" by the Manetti Bros, "Lontano da te" by Ivan Silvestrini, "Il silenzio dell'acqua" by Pier Belloni, "Blanca" by Jan Michelini, and "Monterossi - The TV Series" by Roan Johnson for Amazon Prime Video. Recently, he starred in "Descarillados," directed by Fer Garcia Ruiz and produced by Sony, and "Il mio nome è vendetta" by Cosimo Gomez, produced by Colorado for Netflix.
