Biographie
Nick Wechsler has been cultivating a successful acting career since his teenage years. He is best known for his role as Jack Porter, a series regular on ABC's "Revenge," which received a Critics' Choice nomination. Nick quickly became a fan favorite for his intense, dramatic, yet unexpectedly humorous character, often compared to James Franco.
Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Nick grew up with seven brothers. After graduating high school, he moved to Los Angeles to chase his acting dreams. Soon after arriving, he was cast as Kevin "Trek" Sanders, a child prodigy born at a Star Trek convention, on the syndicated series "Team Knight Rider." Building on this success, he earned his breakout role as Kyle Valenti in the Teen Choice Award-nominated series "Roswell."
Following "Roswell," Nick secured recurring roles on shows such as "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," "Without a Trace," and "Vanished," along with guest appearances on "Chase," "Past Life," "The Sarah Connor Chronicles," "Crossing Jordan," "Cold Case," "Tru Calling," "Malcolm in the Middle," and the TV movie "Perfect Game."
Beyond television, Nick has significant film experience, including roles in the feature film "Fling," directed by John Stewart Muller, and the independent film "Chick's Man."
A dedicated actor, Nick also has extensive theatre experience. His stage credits include productions of "Rebel Without a Cause," "A Midsummer Night's Dream," "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," "Waiting for Godot," "Hansel and Gretel," "Pippin," "Asleep on the Wind," "Harvey," "You Can't Take It With You," and "The Actor's Nightmare."
