Biographie
Nicole Signore was born in Upstate New York and began performing early, participating in dance recitals, modeling for print ads, and appearing in TV commercials. At age five, she made her live debut as one of the magical forest children in Disney on Ice's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
She received formal acting training as a child and graduated from the John Sayles School of Fine Arts High School.
Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Communications from SUNY Empire State College in Saratoga, New York, and an Associate Degree in Music and Theater from SUNY Schenectady County Community College.
Her professional stage career started in regional and New York City theaters such as Steamer No. 10 Children's Theatre, Capital Repertory Theatre, Proctors Theatre, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, and The Medicine Show Theatre. She also performed in Off-Broadway and Broadway productions, earning her Actors' Equity Association membership.
Transitioning to screen, Nicole has appeared in numerous TV and film projects. Notable roles include Page in Kill Your Darlings (Sony Pictures Classics, 2013), directed by John Krokidas; Jemima Warner in Benedict Arnold: Hero Betrayed (2021), narrated by Martin Sheen; and Female Newscaster in Detour (2010), directed by Patty Richardson.
Her filmography also includes Furlough (2018) opposite Melissa Leo; After Party (2017) with Steven Guttenberg; Then Came You (2018) starring Maisie Williams; alongside appearances in Salt (2009), Ted K (2020), I Know This Much Is True (2019), and Crypto, which featured her vintage Ford Mustang collection.
Internationally, she appeared in the German TV series Katie Fforde (2014) as a paralegal, working alongside Ursula Karven. Her web and short film credits include season two of The Wig People (2014) and the sci-fi series Purgatory (2014) as Casandra.
Nicole is a SAG-AFTRA member and has earned multiple acting awards, including Best Scream Queen at the Shocker Horror Film Festival in Hollywood and Best Horror Film Vixen at the Atlanta Film Festival for her role as vampire slayer Maria Hunter in Blood Lust (2004).
Behind the camera, she has worked in various departments and served as a picture and stunt double for actresses such as Mena Suvari, Chloë Sevigny, Elizabeth Olsen, Juno Temple, and Rhea Seehorn. Nicole has also written and produced numerous short film competition entries and a national TV commercial for General Motors.
An accomplished martial artist, Nicole trained extensively in weapons, self-defense, fitness, and mixed martial arts, becoming a candidate for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. She also directed fight choreography for an episode of NBC's The Mysteries of Laura (2014).
She divides her time between Upstate New York and Los Angeles, maintaining strong ties to her family and the entertainment industry.
In recent years, Nicole has expanded her career into creation, production, writing, editing, novel writing, and music, founding Nicole Signore Studios—a multidisciplinary production company focused on film, animation, music, and emerging technologies.
She is the creator, writer, producer, and editor of The Little Bee Girl, an animated educational children’s series inspired by a dance recital costume from age two. The series features a young bee teaching foundational learning concepts through music, rhythm, and storytelling.
Beyond screen work, Nicole is a self-published novelist and a musician, singer, songwriter, and composer. Her music combines traditional instruments with digital audio workstations and emerging technology to create emotionally rich soundscapes. Recent releases include Ghost In The Frame and Nikki Picky.
