Joe Wehinger brings 25 years of experience as a Producer and Director, collaborating with internationally renowned entertainers and brands such as TV icon and 11-time Golden Globe winner Ed Asner, 6-time Golden Globe winner James Brolin, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame musician and entrepreneur Joey Kramer, Golden Globe-winning actress and fashion icon Joanna Cassidy, luxury brand Thunderbird Spirit Water with 2 gold medals, the esteemed Las Vegas Global Wine Competition, Southern California’s largest consumer event LA WineFest, multiple Michelin-starred restaurants, Celebrity Chefs, winemakers, legendary tour manager Robert Pineda’s RXM Concert Tours (national and Las Vegas), Coachella, KROQ’s Weenie Roast, San Francisco’s Outside Lands, concerts, live entertainment, and trade shows across California and the United States.
Joe began his career while still in college, selected for the Kodak Film Scholar program to represent the U.S. at the prestigious Cannes International Film Festival and market. Soon after, he wrote and directed the award-winning short film "Last Breath," starring Ed Asner, which was later distributed by the American Civil Liberties Union.
He also wrote and directed the indie film "The American Standards," featuring 6-time Golden Globe winner James Brolin and Golden Globe-winning actress Joanna Cassidy. This film was acquired for home video release. Joe currently has multiple films, live events, and projects in development as a producer, along with two directorial film projects lined up for the coming year.
In the business realm, Wehinger founded a creative agency in 2008, leading a team of artists and craftsmen to produce marketing and media content for global brands, online personalities, sponsorships, and funding for entertainment, events, and nonprofit partners.
