Biographie
Kadeem Isaiah is an Atlanta-based actor whose growing body of work showcases his versatility and dedication to the craft. He brings compelling performances to a range of projects-from emotionally resonant shorts like Damsel, in which he portrays Eric, a devoted husband and father, to layered television drama via Kold x Windy, where he is featured in a recurring capacity in Season Two. His thriller work includes The Last Interview, now available on Tubi, and earlier ventures such as Tough Love: Atlanta, Goodbye 2022, and Winning Mentality. While titles like I Ain't Got It, Complicated, and Sin remain less publicly documented, they suggest an active and evolving slate of upcoming work. On Tough Love: Atlanta, Kadeem tackles the complex character of Kenny-a man navigating a situationship with Jackie while also managing obligations to another woman, Princess, whom he also manages, creating a tangled web of emotion and professionalism. This "toxically layered" arrangement reflects Kenny's flawed yet magnetic energy, as he juggles these relationships and his housing struggles within the fellowship (Season 1 premiered July 2022). In Season 2, the stakes intensify: after former advisor Jason's imprisonment, Kenny and the others face blackmail and moral peril. Kadeem described his character candidly: "He's with another man's wife, Jackie, even though he has another situation. So it's layers of toxicity to Kenny, layers". In the season finale, a revelation from Kenny about his troubled past shakes Jackie to her core-and a chance encounter with Princess throws the group into further chaos. He also appears in the Lifetime original, Not My Family: The Monique Smith Story, a "Ripped from the Headlines" dramatization starring and executive-produced by Yaya DaCosta. Directed by Tailiah Breon and based on Monique Smith's memoir, the film premiered on April 12, 2025, exploring Smith's decades-long search for identity after realizing that the family she'd grown up with wasn't biologically hers-even as abusive as they were.
