Biographie
Mike Milo is an Emmy Award-winning animator, director, writer, producer, and designer with six Emmy nominations. He has collaborated with many leading animation studios, including Cartoon Network, Disney, Nickelodeon, Smosh, Titmouse, Renegade, Marvel, Mike Young Studios, Hallmark, Warner Bros., Universal, Sony, Film Roman, and Hanna-Barbera. Over his career, Mike has secured 10 development deals and created 6 pilots, with plans to expand on these achievements this year. He is best known for directing Warner Bros.' Pinky and the Brain, Animaniacs, Histeria, Cartoon Network's Chowder, as well as writing and storyboarding for Disney's Phineas and Ferb. Additionally, he produced, directed, animated, and designed Smosh's popular Childhood Stories series on YouTube, each episode garnering over 8 million views.
Currently, Mike serves as Storyboard Supervisor at Renegade Animation, working on various projects, most notably ABC Mouse. He has experience teaching Adobe Flash, Sketchbook Pro, and Toon Boom Storyboard Pro, the latter for Studio Arts and The Animation Guild.
Three years ago, he founded Animation Insider, a website dedicated to interviewing animation artists, which has featured over 1,100 artists worldwide.
Throughout his career, Mike has also co-parented two wonderful daughters with his best friend, whom he considers his greatest accomplishments.
