Biographie
Frank Isaac is a seasoned film executive and producer known for helping filmmakers bring bold visions to life-on time and on budget. Throughout his 45 year career, he has collaborated closely with producers, directors, executives, and crews worldwide, an aspect of the work he considers one of its greatest privileges.
Frank formed Lido Shuffle LLC in March 2026 to pursue opportunities in the production of filmed entertainment and content creation across the traditional motion picture landscape as well as "verticals." Lido Shuffle seeks to engage in the advancement of certain high quality intellectual properties already created by a collective of talented filmmakers with whom Frank has established strong working relationships with over the course of his career.
Frank served as Senior Vice President of Production at Film Finances (2013-2026), the preeminent completion bond company in the entertainment industry. There, he oversaw an exceptional slate of projects including Blade Runner 2049, Sicario, Ted 2, Nightcrawler, Pawn Sacrifice, The Guilty, The Glorias, Soldado, Deadman's Wire, The Death of Robin Hood as well as landmark documentary series such as Our Planet, Making a Murderer, and Chef’s Table.
Previously, Frank served as SVP of Production at International Film Guarantors (2000-2013), supervising productions including The Aviator, Tomb Raider, Terminator 3, Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Dolphin Tale, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Insomnia, Ray, The Good Shepherd, and Marvel titles such as Iron Man, Iron Man 2, and The Incredible Hulk.
During his tenure as a completion guarantor, he worked on films directed by Martin Scorsese, Christopher Nolan, Denis Villeneuve, Kathryn Bigelow, Jon Favreau, Oliver Stone, Gus Van Sant, Antoine Fuqua, Taylor Hackford, Ed Zwick, Jonathan Mostow, Seth MacFarlane, Ed Burns, Julie Taymor and Michael Sarnoski.
Earlier in his career, Frank was VP of Production at Largo Entertainment (1996-1999), where he oversaw a slate including Ridley Scott's G.I. Jane, John Irvin's City of Industry, and Paul Schrader's Affliction, the latter earning James Coburn an Academy Award and Nick Nolte an Oscar nomination. Frank co-produced Dr. Jekyll & Ms. Hyde (1994) under legendary producer Ray Stark and served as Co-Executive Producer on Disney’s Encino Woman for ABC.
His career began in independent film with Roger Corman for whom he produced six feature films shot on location in Argentina, and later at Shapiro Glickenhaus Entertainment, where he oversaw cult favorites including Frankenhooker, Basket Case 2 and 3, and Maniac Cop. Frank’s first production credit was as Assistant Producer on MGM’s sword-n-sorcery fantasy The Beastmaster (1982).
A graduate of the University of Southern California with a BA in Cinema/Television, Frank has built a reputation as both an advocate for filmmakers’ visions and a trusted steward of complex productions, balancing creative ambition with financial and logistical precision.
