Biographie
Julianna Gerais is a Brazilian actress, playwright, screenwriter, and voice-over artist from São Paulo. She trained in Performing Arts at Escola Superior de Artes Célia Helena and at the School of Dramatic Arts of the University of São Paulo (EAD/ECA/USP), beginning her audiovisual career in 2018.
On screen, she starred in The Battle of Rua Maria Antônia (2025), directed by Vera Egito - winner of Best Fiction Feature at the Rio Festival 2023 - as well as 13 Feelings (2024, Daniel Ribeiro), Tooth for a Tooth (2020, Júlio Taubkin & Pedro Arantes), and Savage (2019, Diego da Costa). On television and streaming, her credits include Perfect Days (Globoplay, 2025), Last Vacation (Star+, 2023), and He, She, They (Todxs Nós, HBO, 2020).
With a strong foundation in theater, she has performed in productions such as Uprising (2024-2025), and also created and performed her own play Ode to the Flatworms - Sisyphus Rehearsals (2017), presented at the Museum of Modern Art (MAM) during the UN HeForShe event.
She has also worked as an audio describer at the 45th Sesc Melhores Filmes Festival, hosted the Aprendiz Legal podcast (Canal Futura, 2021), and, since 2025, has been part of the writing team for an upcoming Netflix project.
