Biographie
Frances De Lancey was fortunate to discover her passion for the arts early on, receiving support as she explored singing, dancing, acting, piano, and steel pan. Above all, she was known for her outspoken nature and creativity.
During her time at St François Girls' College, Frances developed a deep love for theatre, which led her to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from the University of the West Indies. There, she honed her talents, sharpening her directorial skills and playwright abilities, culminating in writing and directing her first musical in 2014.
Her passion for performance extended to screen acting, where she trained and secured her first international film role in the 2014 feature "Girlfriends Getaway." She was also featured in projects such as "Stolen," "The Witness," "Scandalous," "Pendulum," and "The Apartment," released in July 2015.
Committed to continuous growth, Frances pursues both practical and theoretical mastery of her craft while working toward a Master of Arts in Cultural Studies.
In December 2015, she was selected to participate in the ARTS Showcase in Orlando, Florida, where she engaged in TV acting, cold reads, monologues, commercials, improvisation, and print photography.
