Biographie
Nicole Hansen is an award-winning producer and the co-creator, producer, actress, and branding designer of the indie pilot The Ex-Wives of Beverly Hills.
Her career began with appearances as Marilyn Monroe in Billy Idol music videos directed by David Fincher. She starred in the action film American Cyborg as the "last fertile woman on the planet." Nicole later co-produced and acted in indie films such as Tinseltown, alongside Ron Perlman and Joe Pantoliano, and Beyond the Ashes, featuring Tony Goldwyn, Jeaneane Garofalo, and Giancarlo Esposito. Both films screened at festivals including Tribeca, Austin, Montreal, and Santa Barbara.
Nicole produced Save It, a short film created by her 10-year-old son, Nikos Spiridakis, with Executive Producer Marshall Herskovitz. The one-minute film debuted as TakepartTV's first YouTube release, ranking #2 among non-profit videos. It aired on CNN and MSNBC during the 2008 Presidential Debates and was included on the Weinstein Company's 2009 DVD releases.
She founded Green Galaxy Enterprises, a production and consulting company that enhances individual and corporate brand profiles through sustainable approaches. Their services include website design, online publishing, social media, film, TV, transmedia, and event production, covering story development, product placement, sponsored media, festivals, and distribution outreach. Nicole produced the June 2009 Renewable Energy Conference and Awards Gala at the United Nations, securing prominent speakers and honorees such as Dr. Arthur Nozik of NREL, Dr. Daniel Nocera of MIT, and billionaire John Paul DeJoria. She partnered with the Los Angeles Entrepreneurs' Organization to raise funds for renewable energy projects and greened their 2009 Business Entertainment Charity event. Nicole also arranged the donation and logistics for FTL Solar tents to organizations including the Cine Institute in Haiti following the 2010 earthquake.
Nicole has been a panelist and speaker at two Ideation Conferences and for ProVisors. She has served on the boards of nonprofits such as the National Women's History Museum and the Sustainable Business Council of LA. Her writings have appeared in or been published on behalf of Habitat for Humanity, The Nation, Indiewire, and Produced By Magazine.
