Biographie
Chuck Williams is an Actor, Producer, Director, and Writer with credits in over 60 films and television shows.
He has served as an assistant director alongside Hollywood legends such as James Cameron, Rob Cohen, Kathryn Bigelow, John Badham, Penelope Spheeris, Jonathan Kaplan, David Fincher, and Jim Kouf, among others.
Transitioning into producing, his work includes Sundance Channel’s Eddie Presley, HBO's action/adventure DOUBLE BLAST, Showtime’s The Telling, Roger Corman’s Up Against Amanda, the Syfy Channel’s Groom Lake starring William Shatner (filmed in Tucson, AZ and nearby locations), and Jeff Burr’s acclaimed World War II feature Straight Into Darkness, distributed by Universal Studios.
Chuck also produced the first American Lucha Libre film Mil Mascaras vs The Aztec Mummy and Killer Pad, directed by Robert Englund.
He co-directed and produced the praised shocumentary Halloween: The Happy Haunting of America with Daniel Roebuck, who co-hosted the Halloween event alongside Bob Burns. The DVD includes appearances by Robert Englund, Alice Cooper, Tom Savini, Doug Bradley, and Angus Scrimm.
Returning to his first passion—acting—Chuck recently appeared opposite David Duchovny and Carla Gugino in Showtime’s Californication Seasons 4, 5, and 6, as well as in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides with Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz. He co-starred with Bruce Campbell in Don Coscarelli’s Bubba Ho-Tep and appeared in The Carbon Copy with Jonathan Breck, Bryan Loves You with Tony Todd and George Wendt, and the 2012 Sundance selection John Dies at the End starring Paul Giamatti.
Chuck has held leading roles in Groom Lake alongside Amy Acker, Syfy Channel’s Soultaker, BET’s Up Against the Eight Ball, HBO’s Double Blast with Linda Blair, and numerous other films and TV shows including CBS’s The Young and the Restless.
He portrayed the murderous title character in the cult horror film Dark Walker, a role that earned him the distinction of being immortalized in two Halloween masks, one of which was featured in the hit comedy Knocked Up.
Chuck appeared on The Girls Next Door Season 5 with Hugh Hefner, Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt, and Kendra Wilkinson, which aired on the E! Channel.
Currently, Mr. Williams serves as CEO of Avondale Pictures. He recently completed directing and writing the film Shake Off the World and is in post-production on The Faith Club. He is also directing and writing a new Western scheduled for filming in Tucson, Arizona in May 2018.
In addition to his film work, Mr. Williams is active in various charities and sits on multiple boards. He also travels globally as a motivational and influential speaker.
