Biographie
California-based Natasha Kojic (also known as Natasa Kojic and Natasha Key) is a singer-songwriter, internationally awarded film and television composer, and SAG-AFTRA actor known for bringing a distinctive, globally influenced artistry to American screen projects. Born in Serbia to Croatian and Bosnian-Herzegovinian heritage, she is the daughter of acclaimed singer-songwriter and producer Dragan Kojic Keba, and is an alumna of both Berklee College of Music and the Music Academy in Belgrade. Her musical style is a refined blend of pop, electronic, and classical cinematic elements, characterized by soulful vocals and rich, orchestral arrangements. Kojic first rose to prominence following the success of her hit single "Oko Plavo" (Blue Eyes), which led to her reaching the top four nominees in the Eurosong selection for Serbia and Montenegro and earning the title of "Music Discovery of the Year." Her debut album "Oko Plavo" was followed by "Fatalna" (released as Natasa Kojic Tasa), which achieved diamond record sales in Serbia and is listed among the region’s top 100 best-selling albums, while the music video "Fatalna i Plava" earned the Victoria Grand Prix in Silver at the Vienna International Film Festival. Her soundtrack "Nebo" later received the Gold Prize for Film Music at the World International Grand Prix Music Contest in London. Evolving into film and television composition, Kojic developed a signature fusion of pop, classical, and electronic textures with airy, emotive vocals, while continuing her work as a performer. Her original music has been featured in a range of television series on major American networks and platforms, including Discovery Network and Netflix, and she produces many of her own music videos for Vevo and YouTube under the names Natasha Kojic and Natasha Key. As an on-screen performer, Kojic’s credits include appearing in the principal cast of MTV’s award-winning music video for Panic! at the Disco’s "Victorious" and a cameo role in the hit sitcom "2 Broke Girls." She has also appeared as a music judge at prominent singing competitions, including Music Junction in Los Angeles (2017) and TV Prva’s "Nikad nije kasno" in Serbia (2025). Kojic began singing, playing piano, and writing songs at the age of seven, with her first on-camera experience in a comedy television series at twelve and her first original song, "Sanjalica," at seventeen. The majority of her discography as Natasa Kojic/Tasa is self-written or co-written, and she has been honored for her "Significant Contribution to Music Creation" in Sarajevo at the First National Radio Music Festival of Serbia and Montenegro. Known for her disciplined, health-focused lifestyle, she has appeared on "The Robert Irvine Show" to promote wellness and awareness. A skilled tennis player, her athleticism, combined with her musical and acting range, contributes to a dynamic, versatile on-screen presence. Kojic’s work and artistic philosophy center on creative freedom and cross-cultural collaboration, championing global artists in both film and music and reflecting a modern, international voice in the entertainment industry. Natasha's favorite directors are David Lynch , Christopher Nolan , Steven Spielberg , and Quentin Tarantino .
