Brazilian actor, director, and producer Marcio began his acting career at age 4 in a regional theater company in Santos. During his adolescence, he participated in several successful plays in Brazil. At age 12, he made his film debut in "O Amor, Unidos Dois Corações" (Love, United Two Hearts), directed by Wilson Rodrigues, and acted in more than 10 plays in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. In 1992, he moved to the United States and studied at renowned schools such as the American Film Institute and the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, working for many years as an actor and also as a production assistant and executive producer on various projects for television networks and film companies in the USA. Marcio worked with acclaimed Romanian director Pouran Deherrkian on the film "Bitterland" and was invited by Japanese director Takashi Miike, considered by Time magazine as one of the 10 best directors in Hollywood, to join the cast of "City of Lost Souls". In addition to these works, Marcio was also hired by Mexican director Jackie Torres for the film "The Price of the North". Marcio participated in many major international productions, such as: "The Expendables," "Collateral Damage," "The Scorpion King," "The Thin Red Line," "Fight Club," "The General's Daughter," "Galaxy Quest," "Next Best Thing," "Rio, I Love You" (in the "Texas" segment), directed by the acclaimed director Guillermo Arriaga, and worked on the award-winning and acclaimed Brazilian film "Deserto."
