Biographie
Beau J. Genot is the owner of 5100 Films, LLC, and has built a notable career as a Producer and Post Production Supervisor. His producing credits include films such as I Want Your Sex, Now Apocalypse, Mysterious Skin, Smiley Face, and KaBoom, all directed by acclaimed filmmaker Gregg Araki. He has also produced The Outwaters, Tinsman Road, and Exvallis, directed by Robbie Banfitch; Sparks, a short film by Joseph Gordon-Levitt; the award-winning Closure by Alex Goldberg; and Spinning Dry, directed by James Avallone and Elana Krausz. Additionally, he produced and directed the documentary short Trucker Patti.
As a Post Production Supervisor, Beau has contributed to a diverse range of films across various genres, including Dog, The Peanut Butter Falcon, POMS, Arctic, Colossal, The End of the Tour, Infinitely Polar Bear, and The Spectacular Now. His television credits feature work on series such as 1883, 1923, season 5 of Yellowstone, season 1 of Landman, season 2 of Doll & Em (HBO), season 1 of The Practice (ABC), and several episodes of Zalman King’s Red Shoe Diaries (Showtime).
Beau has held leadership roles as vice president of production and post production at After Dark Films and executive vice president of post production at Emmitt/Furla Films. He is a member in good standing of the Producers Guild of America, Screen Actors Guild, and the Society of Post Production Supervisors. Beau has also shared his expertise by lecturing on Post Production at UCLA, USC, AFI, and Columbia College Hollywood.
