Biographie
Steve Truitt is an author, television host, producer, and speaker whose career spans broadcast journalism, documentary storytelling, and science communication. A former Los Angeles television news anchor, he has hosted programs for National Geographic and Discovery Channel, including The Human Edge and Cool Stuff: How It Works, exploring science, technology, and innovation. As an author, Steve created The MindSet Chronicles, a science fiction series examining artificial intelligence, consciousness, and the future of humanity. His novels include The Deletion and The Spill, both recipients of multiple literary awards. Steve also co-created and produced the documentary Born Schizophrenic, which received the CineFoundation Golden Eagle Award. Beyond film and television, he has worked as a corporate trainer, executive coach, and motivational speaker, helping organizations and individuals develop leadership and communication skills. A lifelong space enthusiast and student of space history, Steve continues to write, produce, and host projects that explore the intersection of science, technology, and the human experience. He also co-hosts Energize! A Star Trek Podcast.
