Biographie
Kimberly Arland was raised in the Twin Cities within a diverse and multi-talented family environment. From a young age, she was deeply involved in acting, dance, choreography, touring, boxing, martial arts, sports, modeling, and music, gaining valuable experiences early on.
Before turning 13, she had established her own performance company, personally securing gigs with major companies. She was a special-request tap dancer for Sammy Davis Jr. at his birthday party, toured with her family's performance troupe, and modeled for numerous magazines and catalogs. By 17, she had written and toured several original plays, received multiple sports and academic scholarship offers, served as a Student Teacher in dance and acting, acted as a Student Counselor at her high school, taught dance throughout the Twin Cities, led an advanced Musical Theater college summer program, managed and booked performances across the Midwest with her hip-hop crew, and was deeply involved in the Twin Cities’ vibrant theater scene.
At 23, she had collaborated with Prince on multiple projects, managed her first Talent Management Company, been a member of four different bands, toured as a singer, dancer, and choreographer, and appeared in several national commercials.
Since then, alongside ongoing acting and voice-over work, Kimberly has managed a record company, a photography studio, a second Talent Agency, a Scouting Agency, and a Talent Development Company. She also spent over ten years in full-time Christian ministry as a Television Production Director and Consultant, where she honed her skills as a Non-linear Editor and Motion Graphics Artist and was hired by various ministries to train their TV production staff.
Within a month of relocating to Los Angeles, she secured her first starring role in the (yet unreleased) film "Lady Samurai." Since then, Kimberly has continued acting across various platforms, toured and worked with Eastern Sky Theatre Company, and further developed her directing and producing skills through numerous video, television, and live production projects.
