Biographie
Giorgio Serafini has collaborated with actors including Jena Malone, Terrence Howard, Roy Scheider, Peter Bogdanovich, William Shatner, Christopher Lloyd, Jean Smart, Esai Morales, Wesley Snipes, Natalia Dyer, Dolph Lundgren, Billy Zane, and Sean Patrick Flanery. He has directed and/or written for major companies such as CBS, Sony, Lionsgate, EOne, Voltage Pictures, Canal+, RAI, and Mediaset.
Born in Brussels, Belgium to Italian parents, Giorgio relocated to the United States in 1994 and currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and son. He has directed over 100 hours of prime-time television drama in Europe, achieving significant success with the period series "Orgoglio" (Pride), whose first season averaged 13 million viewers per episode, peaking at 23 million. To date, he has written and/or directed 35 feature films or TV series and produced 11, including "Good and Evil" (2009), which earned six nominations at the Monte Carlo Television Festival 2009. His most recent screenplay, "The Truth About La Dolce Vita," was selected for the Venice Film Festival in 2020. The film "Senior Moment" was released theatrically and on VOD by Screen Media on March 26, 2021, remaining in the Top 10 VOD charts for two weeks and enjoying an eight-week theatrical run. Giorgio is currently developing the TV series "The Rebel Queen" as Showrunner and Writer, with filming scheduled for 2024.
