Biographie
Nicole Abisinio began her career in investment management, spending six years in private equity and hedge funds while simultaneously pursuing acting. Her producing career emerged from combining these two fields. She initially worked as a production accountant in NYC before moving into film financing as an executive producer for agencies and producers with packaged projects, securing multi-million dollar deals for films featuring actors such as Terence Howard, Jack Black, and Samuel L. Jackson. This experience sparked her passion for creating independent features, where she ultimately found her niche.
Nicole Abisinio is a feature film producer with credits including R.A.D.A.R.: Adventures of the Bionic Dog, The Investigator (The Romano Story), The Paramedic Who Stalked Me, Red Canyon, The Turnaround, Prime of Your Life, and Oloibiri (CD). Her films have achieved top ten box office per-screen averages, high ratings on network television and streaming platforms, festival awards for Best Movie of the Year, an African Academy Award, and have featured star casts including Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead), Dean Cain (Superman), and Justin Hartley (This Is Us). Her films have been distributed by Sony, Netflix, Lionsgate, Tubi, Walmart Exclusives, Lifetime, Blockbuster, Regal, and Cinemark. In addition to producing, Nicole is a director and writer, and has contributed to marketing campaigns for studio films such as Hacksaw Ridge, I Can Only Imagine, Breakthrough, The Star, and Christmas Candle.
Nicole specializes in inspiring true stories and championing emerging voices, with a strong focus on ethnic diversity and women in film. The family-friendly detective series she wrote and directed, The Advocate, was among the top-rated shows of 2023 both domestically and internationally.
