Biographie
Alexandros Logothetis was born in Athens, Greece, in December 1970.
He graduated with Honours from the National Theater of Greece Drama School in 1991 and earned a BA in Acting from the Arts Educational Schools London in 1999.
On the big screen, he has appeared in over 30 films and received two awards at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival for "Business in Balkans" (Best Actor) and "Totally Married" (Best Supporting Actor).
His television work gained him early popularity, with roles in shows such as "Women," "Anatomy of a Crime," "Stand by Me," "The Sacrifice," and "Ten," showcasing his acting talents. In 2010, he starred as Dr. Kyritsis in Victoria Hislop's international bestseller "The Island," a role that remains closely associated with him. In 2019, he co-starred as Manos in "Adults in the Room," directed by Costa Gavras. In 2022, he appeared as Andreas Patakis in "Magpie Murders," alongside Lesley Manville, in the Eleventh Hour, PBS Masterpiece, Britbox, and Salt Films production directed by Peter Cattaneo.
In theatre, Alexandros has collaborated with some of Greece's most influential directors, including Stathis Livathinos, George Michailidis, Nikos Mastorakis, Stamatis Fasoulis, Io Voulgaraki, and Cezaris Grauzinis.
Alexandros has been active in the performance industry for 33 years.
