Biographie
Will Collyer is an acclaimed actor, singer, and composer known for frequent guest appearances on prime-time television, voice work in numerous feature films and TV series, stage performances at the Mark Taper Forum, Kirk Douglas Theatre, and Pasadena Playhouse, and composing scores for three full-length musicals and various short films.
He earned a theatre degree from UCLA's School of Theatre, Film & Television, studying under Joe Olivieri, Karen Morrow, Nancy Dussault, John Hall, and Carol Burnett, who directed him in a lead role in "Once Upon a Mattress."
Will provides the voices of Melody, Seymour Saymore, and Chester on Gaumont and Amazon's "Do Re & Mi," and his voice can also be heard in Disney/Pixar's Cars 3 and Finding Dory, Marvel's Avengers Assemble, Disney Jr's Doc McStuffins, as well as narrating several audiobooks, including the bestselling true-life thriller Billion Dollar Whale. He is also the voice behind commercials for Chase Credit Cards, KFC, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield health insurance.
Beyond acting, Will is a published composer and songwriter. Alongside songwriting partner Emily Thompson, he released their debut EP, ifsoever, in January 2016. His original musicals, The Gingerbread Pimp (featured at the 2013 New York Musical Theatre Festival) and Right Together, Left Together, have undergone multiple workshops and developmental productions in Los Angeles and New York. Additionally, he composed the theme song "The Kill" for the feature film Bounty Killer, which was recorded by Sara Bareilles.
