Biographie
Erica Hubbard began her career in 1988, providing voice-overs and appearing in commercials for brands like McDonald's, MCI, Reebok, and Sears. She has worked in various markets, including Chicago, New York, and California.
Ms. Hubbard has acted in feature films released by Paramount, 20th Century Fox, and TSIBILI Pictures. She has also starred in television shows on networks such as CBS, NBC, MTV, and The WB. Additionally, she has been featured in numerous popular magazines, including Seventeen, Honey, Ebony, and YM, where she was known as the Noxzema Girl.
Erica attended Columbia College, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in just three years. Shortly after graduating, she hosted her own television show on WPWR, a UPN affiliate in Chicago. Before the third season aired, she was awarded a Regional Emmy and received a Service to America Award from the National Association of Broadcasters for hosting the children and teen show Up'N Running (1997). Her diverse credits include Save the Last Dance (2001), A Cinderella Story (2004), Light It Up (1999), and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005), based on a New York Times Bestselling Novel. Erica recently completed filming Akeelah and the Bee (2006) for Lions Gate Films. She currently stars as a regular on the ABC Family series Lincoln Heights (2006), and her animated series, The Replacements (2006), is airing on Disney.
As a union actress, Erica values the importance of professional affiliations. She is a proud member of NATAS, IFP/West, AFI, and WIF, and continues to advance her career across the country.
