Biographie
Simone Bailly is an award-winning actress renowned for her television roles in Stargate SG-1 (1997), Battlestar Galactica (2004), The L Word (2004), Smallville (2001), and as a series regular on Da Vinci's City Hall (2005). She also featured in the iconic EA video game Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005), which sold over 16 million copies worldwide. Recently, Simone starred in a leading role in her first Western short proof of concept film, Unfrayed. She appeared in the HBO series Dead Boy Detectives (DC Comics), the TV movie Must Love Christmas (CBS/Paramount+) directed by Martin Wood, and guest-starred in Blood & Treasure (2019) on CBS/Amazon Prime, NCIS: Los Angeles (2009), and Limitless (2015) on CBS. Her film credits include Life Partners (2014), Good Luck Chuck (2007), and I Spy (2002). Simone has demonstrated versatility across genres including science fiction, action, and comedy.
From a young age, Simone has been involved in theatre, dance, athletics, singing, and modeling. She graduated with honors from the prestigious B.F.A. acting program at the University of British Columbia. She has toured with a Shakespeare company and performed as a singer in a hip hop/funk/jazz band. Transitioning from theatre to film and television, Simone has worked extensively in both Canada and the U.S. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, dancing, longboard skateboarding, snowboarding, and playing pool. She is a certified yoga instructor and a PADI open water scuba diver. Simone also loves traveling, music, gardening, and painting. She runs her own YouTube channel and is the Host and Producer of The Simone Bailly Show on YouTube. A dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada, Simone resides in Vancouver, Canada.
