Biographie
Born Jane Katherine Astrove in Los Angeles, California, Jane was raised in Scarsdale, New York. She was adopted at five days; by mother, Katherine A. Astrove, a homemaker, now deceased, and father, Edgar Astrove, an retired engineer.
Jane grew up with one older brother, James Edgar Astrove, also adopted. In 1997, Jane found her biological mother who still resides in Los Angeles and, two half siblings, a brother, ten years her junior, and sister, nineteen years younger.
Jane is divorced and has one adult daughter, Melissa Graver, an actress.
Jane obtained her undergraduate degree from The College of New Rochelle, Magna Cum Laude, and, her Masters Degree from Columbia University in New York with honors.
As a child, she often performed skits and hand puppet shows for family and house guests. At age 25, Jane appeared briefly as an extra in the Horror film Spookies (1986).
It was not until fifteen years ago that her love for writing become a secondary career, and she now writes screenplays full time. Jane recently completed screenplay, "The Sum of 9 the Chosen Ones" and is working on its sequel. She is also writing, "Vale End" and "Reality's Door", both psychological thrillers, and "Love Knows no Bounds", a drama.
