Biographie
Ricardo Pereira is a Portuguese actor, presenter, producer, and director with over 25 years of experience in Portugal, Brazil, and international projects.
He started his career in Portuguese theatre and gained recognition on Portuguese TV with shows like Saber Amar and O Bairro da Fonte. In Brazil, he became a familiar face through telenovelas and series such as Como uma Onda, Prova de Amor, Pé na Jaca, Negócio da China, Insensato Coração, Joia Rara, Novo Mundo, Deus Salve o Rei, Éramos Seis, and Cara e Coragem.
In Portugal, he has starred in major productions including Jura, Perfeito Coração, Laços de Sangue, Mar Salgado, Amor Amor, and A Herança. His performances in Amor Amor and A Herança earned him the Golden Globe Portugal award for Best Fiction Actor. In Spain, he made his lead acting debut in the series Eva & Nicole for Atresplayer.
His television work includes series such as Lume (HBO Max), Rabo de Peixe (Netflix), O Clube (OPTO), Faro (RTP1), Matilha (RTP and Prime Video), Azul (OPTO), and Vindima. In 2026, he will appear in the Netflix series Fúria, the film Minha Melhor Amiga, and the telenovela Coração Acelerado (TV Globo).
In film, he has appeared in titles like Cartas da Guerra, Mistérios de Lisboa, O Crime do Padre Amaro, Amália, Alguém Como Eu, Minha Vida em Marte, De Perto Ela Não é Normal, A Sogra Perfeita 2, Os Papéis do Inglês, and Cadences Obstinées, directed by Fanny Ardant.
Beyond acting, Ricardo has built a career as a presenter. In Portugal, he has hosted Episódio Especial on SIC since 2008, along with shows like Programa Exclusivo, Red Carpet Globos de Ouro, and Estamos em Casa. In Brazil, he hosted Mandou Bem on Multishow, Um Dia Com on GNT, Dança da Galera on Domingão do Faustão, and appeared as a presenter on Mais Você, É de Casa, and Sem Cortes.
In theatre, he made his debut in Uma Brancura Luminosa, based on Nobel Prize winner Jon Fosse’s work, performing alongside actress and singer Sandra Barata Belo. The play toured Portugal and is set to premiere in Brazil in 2026.
