Ade Emmanuel Ibikunle, professionally known as Emmy Williams, is a multi-talented Nigerian Producer, Director, TV host, and the founder of Planet Emmy Media. Emmy Williams achieved notable recognition when he won the prestigious 2019 KOPAwards Actor Of The Year and AGN Mr Nolly 2020 awards. He also peaked as one of the 13 finalists in the second season of the Next Superstar Reality TV Show in 2020. In 2022, Emmy Williams was officially announced as the host of Season 1 of the Naija Fame Factory Reality TV Show. Furthermore, his influence in the industry was acknowledged when he received a nomination for the LinkedIn Influencer of the year by Pulse Nigeria in 2022.

Early Life/Education:
Emmy Williams was born in Yeluwa Yauri, Kebbi State, to Rev Ade Wonder Ibikunle and Pst (Mrs) Angela O. Abani. He grew up as the middle child in a family of 7. After his father, a Marine Police Officer, was transferred to Warri, Delta State, Emmy attended Fin's Academy for his primary education and later enrolled in King's Way College. Due to his exceptional intelligence, he was awarded a provisional scholarship, which he held throughout his secondary school years. In 2009, Emmy moved to the city of Benin and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology at the University of Benin. It was during his university days that he embarked on his professional career.
Acting Career:
Emmy Williams initiated his acting career at the young age of 7 while growing up in the creeks of Warri, Delta State. His passion for the film industry took root when a friend named Ella provided him with 5,500 Naira to register for a movie advert. In an interview, he expressed, "Ella saw greatness in me and said, 'Emmanuel, I believe that one day you'll become a superstar.' I have never encountered someone with such unwavering belief in my entire life!" In 2016, Emmy met a renowned movie producer to whom he expressed his dream of becoming a movie star. The producer's response had a profound impact on his life. Despite facing negative energy, Emmy persevered and continued his quest for movie roles throughout the city. He landed his first role in 2017 in the NTA/JEP soap opera, '100 Ways to Win a Husband,' where he portrayed the character 'Old dog.' In 2018, he fulfilled the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme and was posted to the Ministry of Health in Lokoja, Kogi State. While in Lokoja, he portrayed a security guard in the movie 'Oma Ofé' (2018). His breakthrough as a lead actor came in the short film 'Insecure' (directed by Oluwatobi Samuel). This role brought him to the attention of producers, leading to a sub lead role in the Northern movie 'Love and Poverty' in 2019. His portrayal of 'Salim' garnered positive praise from critics.
Controversy:
During a 2019 interview with Kurrent Life, Emmy openly expressed his enjoyment of on-screen kisses with actresses. He stated, "My favorite movie genre is romance... I find pleasure in kissing on set: experiencing different lips and techniques."

In September 2020, Emmy participated in the "Mr Nolly" competition organized by the Actors Guild of Nigeria (Kogi State Chapter). With an overwhelming vote of 95, he emerged as the winner, surpassing his opponent Usman Hamisu, who received only 24 votes.
