Daphane Handy is an American television producer, entrepreneur, filmmaker, and author who has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry within her community. She gained recognition from the show, Meeting Tomorrow's Moguls, which served as a launching pad for her online streaming network, MTM Network, available on the MTM streaming app and Roku TV.
Born and raised in Memphis, TN, Daphane found solace and joy in capturing the lives and stories of others. Her career breakthrough came when she landed her first professional gig filming Aaron Paxton Arnold, mogul and former assistant to P. Diddy, during his stay in Memphis. This opportunity solidified her love and passion for storytelling.
Recognized for her exceptional talent, Daphane was hired as the Director of Photography for the pilot episode of "The Industry," receiving praise for her artistic vision.
In 2019, she received the honor of heading the film production for Kassandra's Smith Congressional campaign for Tennessee District 9. This led to remarkable opportunities, such as producing "Life With Andrews and Tammie" and "Your Best Life Now." The latter was picked up and aired on the Now Network, reaching millions of viewers and receiving acclaim for its quality content and production.
During her downtown sparked by the Covid-19 pandemic, Daphane found inspiration on YouTube when she realized there was a need for a fresh face of relatable moguls that viewers in her city could draw hope from. This revelation birthed the show, Meeting Tomorrow's Moguls, an episodic interview series featuring entrepreneurs and professionals on their paths to success while overcoming adversity. With divine guidance and an amazing team, she successfully filmed a full season and self-syndicated the show on Roku TV and Amazon Fire TV in just three months. Building on this vision, she expanded Meeting Tomorrow's Moguls into an entire online streaming network, MTM Network, fostering a community of storytellers and future household names who collaborate and share content with global audiences.
Furthermore, Daphane is working on publishing a book about the healing power of Prayer and Fasting. She attributes her personal healing journey, including overcoming temporary blindness in January 2021, to these practices. Also, she is dedicated to honoring her late father, William Calvin Handy, by organizing the We Create Film Festival, slated for its official launch.
