Victoria Vertuga, a California native, now divides her time between Los Angeles and Atlanta. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from USC, she initially worked on the business side of entertainment before choosing to pursue a career in front of the camera. She has appeared in national commercials for major brands such as Gap, Budweiser, and Geico. Her first significant television role was on the long-running soap opera "Days of Our Lives," followed shortly by a guest spot on Dexter.
Frustrated by being cast repeatedly as variations of "hot blonde," "dumb blonde," and "hot, dumb blonde," she expanded her career into writing, directing, and producing. Her pilot scripts "Tithes" and "The Other City" have been semifinalists in multiple screenwriting contests, including the highly competitive Austin Film Festival. Her darkly comedic web series DisGraced premiered at the Women's Comedy Film Festival in spring 2021 and has since screened at over 45 film festivals, earning more than 20 award nominations and 10 wins, including several Best Comedy and Best Actress awards.
Her directorial debut, "Lexi," which she wrote and starred in, was released in fall 2022. Her most recent project, Cold Blows the Wind, premiered at the Horror Hound Film Festival in March 2023, where it won Best Feature and Judge's Choice awards, and she received a nomination for Best Actress.
An avid animal lover, Victoria actively volunteers with Best Friends Animal Society/NKLA, is a core member of Angel City Pitbulls, and proudly cares for three rescue pit bulls.
