Biographie
Dai Traversa Farias is a professional actress with a strong background in dance and singing, and experience in both audiovisual productions and theater. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she is based in Mexico City since 2022. She trained as an actress, dancer, singer, and musical theater performer in Buenos Aires and New York.
She has a solid foundation in acting, having studied Meisner technique with George Lewis, Stanislavski and Strasberg with Lili Popovich, Lecoq with Gabriella Daniell, the Chubbuck technique with Ernesto Domínguez, and completed seminars in Clown-all in Buenos Aires. After relocating to Mexico, she also studied neutral Spanish accent to broaden her versatility for diverse roles. Throughout her training, she earned several competitive scholarships, including a full scholarship to the Julio Bocca&Ricky Pashkus School of Musical Theatre and Dance in Buenos Aires and an international scholarship for the Summer Program at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, USA. Her education is further enriched by voice and dance training at prestigious institutions in Buenos Aires and New York.
She has worked in a range of audiovisual projects and television series across Latin America. One of her standout roles was as "Únana*" in "Morko y Mali", directed by Andrés Schaer, where her character gained significant presence in the second season, allowing her to explore comedy and clown work in depth. Her versatility is also rooted in years of experience in musical theater, as well as in commercial work for major international brands, collaborating with renowned directors such as Jonathan Krisel.
In addition to her acting work, she was the co-host of "Sorpresa Mickey" and co-starred in "Disney Junior en Vivo", a musical show that toured several Latin American countries. These projects showcased her performance range in live formats, while reinforcing her skills in timing, audience engagement, and stage presence.
