Biographie
Born and raised in Southern California and shaped by her family's immigrant roots from Mexico City, Anne found her first love in dance. Trained in ballet, jazz, modern, and tap, she built a career as a professional performer, traveling to more than 20 countries and spending four years touring internationally with Feld Entertainment. Her dance career also included performances for Disneyland and Universal Studios, where she honed her ability to connect with audiences through movement and storytelling.
Long before stepping in front of or behind a camera, Anne was already finding her voice as a writer. She was published in a collection of poems by young authors. That passion for storytelling resurfaced years later when a knee injury brought her dance career to an unexpected crossroads. Rather than leaving the arts behind, she embraced a new chapter, both in front of and behind the camera, as an actor, writer, director, and producer.
Drawn to character-driven stories that blend humor, heart, and humanity, her work has earned recognition at film festivals across the country. Her award-winning projects include "Souvenir" (Most Original Concept, Austin Comedy Short Film Festival, 2020), "The Subaru Sagas" (Best Web and New Media, Independent Shorts Awards, 2021), "House Meeting" (Best Dark Comedy Micro Short, Austin After Dark Film Festival, 2022), "The Dark Ages" (Best Ensemble, IndieFEST Awards, 2023), and "A Funny Thing About Grief" (Best Short, LA Webfest, 2025). She has also received multiple festival nominations for her work as an actor, writer, director, and producer.
Whether performing on stage, in front of the camera, or creating stories from behind it, Anne is driven by a belief that laughter, vulnerability, and connection can bring people together across cultures and experiences.
