Biographie
Before stepping into the casting world, Kavish worked as a Brand Manager and Strategist on top most global brands across various advertising agencies in the country, before his foray into the casting world.
He now runs his own casting company "On-My-Kayroll" in Mumbai and shares his passion for casting with his team. He has cast feature films for Dharma Productions, Madras Talkies, Jio Studios, Emmay Entertainment, Zee Studios, T-Series, Stage 5 Productions, Anurag Basu Productions, AKF, Outsider Films and more.
He is also the mind behind casting some of the finest award-winning streaming series for Amazon Prime Video India, Netflix India, Disney+Hotstar, Sony Liv, Eros Now, Voot, Zee5 and Jio Cinema. Some of these are shows such as the critically acclaimed 'Rocket Boys', 'Freedom at Midnight', 'Mumbai Diaries', 'Shekhar Home', 'Undekhi' and 'Rudra' to name a few. He has also cast around 200 TVCs along the way, and international projects like Good Karma Hospital for UK, Jack Irish for Australia and Slave Market for the Middle East.
Kavish believes that a Casting Director has to be equally involved in the film making process, at par with an actor and the director. His team takes pride in assembling ensembles that feel both grounded and culturally resonant, collaborating closely with top-tier directors to execute distinct creative visions.
When he isn't scouring for the next breakout star, Kavish can be found exploring local indie coffee shops and new eating joints, reading books and mostly scripts, or just observing people in a diverse Indian setup, always keeping a finger on the pulse of culture and human behavior.
