Over his career, he has participated in over 150 full contact fights, earning multiple titles including more than ten Golden Gloves championships, multiple B.C. provincial championships, Western Canadian titles, and National boxing medals. He was also a runner-up in the Olympic qualifiers in 2004, 2008, and 2016. Recently, he transitioned to professional boxing, (02/21/2025), winning his debut fight by K.O. in Tijuana, Mexico and continues to aim for national and world boxing titles.
Early Life and Martial Arts Background Darcy Hinds was born in South Surrey, Canada, growing up on a family farm with four brothers along with his farther, Charles Hinds and mother, Nancy Hinds. From a young age he was inspired by Bruce Lee and action films such as Superman, Conan The Barbarian, Rocky, Blood Sport... He began martial arts training at age eight, initially practicing Taekwondo, where he earned a brown belt and won multiple tournaments. In his teenage years, he trained in Hapkido, earning a black belt, and competed in kickboxing with a record of 7 wins and no losses winning the junior Canadian Kickboxing Title at age 17.
His early experience in martial arts set the foundation for his later achievements in acting, boxing and stunt work.
