George Platt Lynes is often remembered for his captivating celebrity portraits and visually striking fashion work at the pinnacle of his career. Lynes savored long-standing friendships with Gertrude Stein and Alfred Kinsey and remains a trailblazer as one of the first openly gay American artists.
