Biography
Krzysztof Solek is a multi-award-winning producer and co-founder, founder, and CEO of Film Poland Productions, Film Slovakia, Warrior Bear Productions, Film Southeast, Choice Talents, and Arbor Films. He is best known for producing the critically acclaimed feature film Legacy of Lies starring Scott Adkins and The Last Witness starring Alex Pettyfer. A graduate of the Polish National Ballet School, Rudra Béjart Ballet, and the National Holistic Institute in the USA, Solek began his career as a professional dancer, performing worldwide with leading choreographers and companies. After fifteen years abroad - in Switzerland, Belgium, France, Israel, the UK, and the USA - he transitioned from stage to screen, beginning as a still photographer before moving into film production. As one of the most respected line producers in Poland, Solek has worked on major international projects including In the Lost Lands starring Milla Jovovich and Dave Bautista, Barbarians (Season 2) for Netflix, Perfect Addiction for Amazon Studios, The Interpreter of Silence for Disney, and the Bollywood blockbuster Kick. As well as numerous acclaimed European television films such as Parallel me, The Palace, Westwall, The Turncoat and Hotel Europa. Since 2004, he has led Film Poland Productions, Poland's premier service production company, with clients such as Netflix, Disney, Paramount, Amazon, BBC, National Geographic, The History Channel, Channel 9 Australia, the Sci-Fi Channel, and History Canada. Through Choice Talents, Solek pioneered creative collaboration between Poland and the Far East, providing top Polish cinematographers, stunt teams, and film artists to major Indian productions including Tiger Zinda Hai, Bharat, Dangal, Shivaay, and Housefull 3. His credits as producer and co-producer also include the award-winning My Home India (dir. Anjali Bhushan).
