At the age of 23, they completed a degree in Law, but ultimately dedicated their life to the world of acting. Their early work was in theater and small film roles, but it was the series 7 Vidas (1999-2006) which brought them notable popularity thanks to their portrayal of Gonzalo Montero. Initially, they worked as an extra and even an assistant director until the producer offered them the opportunity to act in the series. Between 2009 and 2011, they played their first leading role in television with Doctor Mateo (Antena 3), where they portrayed Mateo Sancristóbal, a Spanish doctor who, after suffering from hemophobia, decides to leave everything behind in New York and settle in the town where they used to vacation as a child: San Martín del Sella. They have performed a considerable amount of work in theater, not only as an actor but also as a technician. Among their most notable performances are Las últimas palabras de copito de nieve, with the Animalario company (which is closely linked to their career), and Luces de bohemia, with the Centro Dramático Nacional, working under directors such as Lluís Pascual, Gerardo Vera, Andrés Lima, or Sergi Belbel. They were in a romantic relationship with Nathalie Poza until 2008, and since 2010 their partner has been Natalia Verbeke.
