Biography
Doug Coupe is an entertainment industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience spanning acting, producing, and strategic communications. He began his career in front of the camera, appearing in hit television series, national commercials, music videos, and print campaigns-an experience that gave him a deep, firsthand understanding of storytelling, talent, and the creative process.
Transitioning behind the camera, Doug built a diverse producing portfolio that includes television commercials, music videos, digital series, short films, and feature-length projects. His producing credits include the feature film This Is the Year, executive produced by Selena Gomez, the award-winning feature Warrior Road, and the acclaimed documentary short The Sands of Time.
Most recently, Doug co-founded Wicked Good Entertainment, a boutique content development studio, with business partner and Shark Tank’s most featured winner, Tracey Wheeler Noonan. Together they develop and produce original scripted and unscripted projects that entertain and inspire which are rooted in authenticity, emotional depth, and the universal human experience.
In addition to his work in film and television, Doug has built a successful parallel career as a Public Relations and Communications Specialist, leading innovative campaigns that elevate brand visibility and drive audience engagement across global markets.
A graduate of Bates College, Doug was a standout student-athlete, serving as captain of the varsity lacrosse team while also competing in varsity football. Originally from Plymouth, Massachusetts, he now lives on the South Carolina coast with his family.
