Biography
Kristina Hughes, a New England native, firmly believes that hard work and perseverance can elevate an acting career to "expected heights" while revealing "unexpected roles."
Raised in Medford, Massachusetts, and attending Lexington Christian Academy near Boston during her late teens, she developed a passion for the entertainment industry through local theatre performances, finishing school, and modeling. Pursuing her interests further, Kristina graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English/Communications, concentrating in Writing and Theatre, from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island.
Determined to pursue acting professionally, she moved to Los Angeles. Since relocating, Kristina has appeared on shows such as Boston Legal, Old School, Unwrapped, and Days of Our Lives. She has starred in several independent films, notably as the lead in the psychological thriller Green River, and featured in popular web series like The Resolve and Vegan 101, as well as numerous national commercials. Kristina is also an active member of the Moveable Theatre Company, embracing stage work.
Behind the scenes, she produces web content including The Resolve and a series of commercials for Storitz.com.
Kristina has served as a seminar leader and guest speaker for organizations such as SAG Conservatory, SAG Foundation, The Actors Center, National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, The Image Awards, The Actor's Network, Acting Success Now, The Actors Fund, Children in Film, BizParentz, Actors Creative Workshop, The Sanford Meisner Studio, The ShowBiz Expo, Creative Actors Alliance, Women In Film, and many other respected performing arts groups. She addresses challenges faced by performers and offers innovative solutions through Holdon Log’s webware product, PerformerTrack.
