Biography
Nastassia Villasana trained at the renowned Stella Adler Studio of Acting under acclaimed director Ron Burrus, as well as at CasAzul Artes Escénicas. She furthered her training in acting and directing with Luis Mandoki, Centro Actoral Martín Rojas, and most recently with the internationally respected acting coach Juan Carlos Corazza.
Throughout her career, Villasana has built an extensive body of work across theatre, television, film, and radio. Among her most recognized television credits are Fernanda del Solar: Entre Padre e Hijo (Netflix), Control Z (Netflix), where she portrayed Betty de la Fuente, Amar a Muerte (Vix+), in which she played the symbolic role of Death, and Si Nos Dejan (Vix+), where she portrayed Marcela Cruz.
Her recent screen work includes Mamita (Star+), the Colombian television series Instinto Animal (Canal TRO), in which she played Juliana, and the box-office comedy Mirreyes contra Godínez: Las Vegas, where she portrayed Filipa Lecumberri. She also appeared in Elixir del Amor, directed by Guillermo Iván, and in Sobreviviendo Mis XV, directed by Chava Cartas.
As a lead actress, she starred as the title character in the short film Sexy Miller, created by showrunner Toto Martínez.
On stage, Villasana has appeared in numerous productions, including Carrie: The Musical, Que No Nos Cache Tu Madre, Fiddler on the Roof, and Yo Te Esperaba, for which she received the Best Supporting Actress Award. Her theatre credits also include Tráfico de Mujeres, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Contigo Pero Sola, The Last Counsel, and the critically acclaimed, multi-award-winning production Welcome Aboard. She also portrayed Miss Scarlet and Mrs. Peacock in the Mexican production of Clue: El Juego de la Sospecha, produced by Mejor Teatro.
For the past eleven years, Villasana has been a member of the cast of 12 Princesas en Pugna, one of Mexico's longest-running and highest-grossing theatrical productions, which has enjoyed continuous success at the national box office for over a decade.
